The charming proprietors of this attractive mountain hotel could hardly offer a warmer welcome to their petite slice of paradise. I slept deep and contented in a quiet room with a view of peaks on the horizon and a cool breeze drifting in through the window. Bread from just down the block, still fresh from the oven and a choice of local cheese made breakfast more than ordinary and a pleasant drink the evening before on the flowered terrace made me wish I were staying more than just one night. Conveniently located to a choice of restaurants (including one right next door) and plenty of parking just across the street. There’s also secure bike storage with a tidy and well-equipped atelier…perfect for cyclists taking in the sights of the verdant Vercors. Most certainly recommended. Our second reservation has already been made. English pleasantly spoken.

Hôtel agréable et surtout très bien placé dans Villard de Lans. Proche piscine, patinoire, restaurants et centre ville. Les hôtes très accueillants.
